Gladiators Doom (L) and Enigma (R), during the Monmouth Music Festival 2009. The Monmouth Music Festival 2009 was the 27th year of this event, which is one of, if not the, largest, longest free musical event in Europe. Starting on Friday, 24th July, and running through Saturday 1st August, it provided a carnival, parade, dog show, Kymin Dash, and musical gigs by bands and groups in three venues around town.
